What We Do

We Pay attention

Many special interest groups seek to manipulate the service industry for their own gain. Policy is created and legislated under the guise of helping workers and developing best practices. These policies, if left unchecked, can be chocked full of negative consequences for the industry and the workers they are supposed to help. The FSWA keeps track of legislation that may affect the industry and our incomes in a negative way. We pay attention.

We show up

The FSWA is active. We engage workers via our Facebook Page by presenting different topics of discussion surrounding policy that will affect our industry. Our op-eds and articles educating people about service industry topics have been published in periodicals all over the country. You will find us testifying on the behalf of professionals in the Full Service Industry in support of our Industry culture and traditions. We are engaged with local and national legislators to bridge the gap between workers and having a voice in their industry.
